Contact Corsair Custom 3D

The quickest route to a quote or a straight answer is a short email with a few details.

Email Jose

Corsair Custom 3D is a home-based shop, and the best way to reach it is by email: corsaircustom3d@gmail.com. Every message is read and answered by Jose personally, with questions, advice or a quote. Because there is no storefront, there is no walk-in counter and no street address to visit. Jobs, handover and any pickup are arranged by message.

You can also find the shop on its Google Business listing.

Service area

The shop serves Mississauga, ON and surrounding areas. If you are further away, send a message anyway. Small printed parts ship easily, and printer repair advice can often be given remotely. Delivery arrangements and costs are agreed before the job is completed.

What to include in your message

A good first email saves a round of back-and-forth. Copy the checklist that matches your request and fill in what you know.

Printing or a custom part

  • What the part does and where it will be used: indoors, outdoors, hot, wet, under load.
  • A 3D file (STL, 3MF or STEP) if you have one, or photos, sketches and drawings.
  • Key dimensions, and a photo of the original with a ruler or coin for scale.
  • Quantity, colour preference, and the date you need it.
  • Whether the design is confidential.

Printer repair or tuning

  • Printer brand and model, plus firmware if you know it (Marlin, Klipper or another).
  • The symptom, when it began, and what changed just before.
  • What you have already tried, and any error messages.
  • Photos of a failed print and, if possible, a short video of the printer running.

R/C plane or jet parts

  • The model name or a photo of the aircraft, and the broken or missing part.
  • Weight, motor or fan details if relevant, and how you fly it.
  • Photos of the damaged part from several angles, with a ruler in view.

Examples of a useful first message

For a part: "I need a replacement knob for a bench grinder that is no longer made. It is about 40 mm across with a 6 mm D-shaped bore. It lives in a workshop, so it should survive knocks. Photos with a ruler attached. I need two by the end of the month."

For a repair: "My printer is a bed-slinger running Marlin. For the last week the first layer has been thin on the left side and the extruder sometimes clicks. I changed to a new spool before this started. I have tried re-levelling the bed and cleaning the nozzle. Photos and a short video attached."

For an aircraft part: "The vertical fin on my printed jet snapped at the base after a landing. I kept both pieces. The fin is roughly 120 mm tall. I would like it reprinted slightly stronger, in a colour that contrasts with the fuselage. Photos from three angles attached."

Common reasons people get in touch

  • A part has broken and cannot be bought separately.
  • A 3D printer has stopped printing well, and the cause is unclear.
  • A prototype is needed to test an idea before spending on tooling.
  • A model aircraft needs a repair or a custom component.
  • A company needs a small batch of identical parts or a set of fixtures.
  • A printer needs firmware or Klipper set up and tuned for better print quality.

What happens next

Jose will reply with questions or a plan. For prints, that might be a material recommendation and a quote. For repairs, it is usually a list of likely causes and a suggestion for the next step. Nothing is printed, opened up or repaired until you agree. The complete flow is on the how it works page, and the guarantee page explains how problems are handled after the job.

Hours and response

As a home-based shop, there are no fixed opening hours. Messages are answered as soon as the work schedule allows, and urgent deadlines should be mentioned in the subject line or first sentence so they can be planned around. If you have not had a reply after a few days, check your spam folder or send a short follow-up.

Privacy

Your email address, files and photos are used only to respond to your enquiry and carry out your job. They are not published or shared, and you can ask for files to be deleted after the work is finished. This site has no forms, no accounts and no tracking scripts, so there is nothing to sign up for.
